Our why

The inspiration behind the business

The company was established by Saheed Khan, who immigrated to Australia in the 1980s. Beginning with modest means, he initially worked mowing lawns and in roll forming before receiving a truck from a friend. This opportunity marked a turning point in his career. Through tireless dedication and a strong work ethic, he secured a contract with a motor oil manufacturing company to transport oil products—quickly earning a reputation for reliability and excellence. With just one truck and a clear vision, Mr. Khan identified a growing demand within the transport industry and laid the foundation for what would become a highly successful enterprise.

Over the course of 30 years, the company expanded significantly and established a dominant presence in the market. However, due to illness, Mr. Khan is no longer able to operate at the same capacity. In recognition of his remarkable legacy and inspired by his commitment, his daughter has undertaken the responsibility of continuing the business. As part of this transition, the company is currently undergoing a strategic rebrand and is now operating under the name SET Logistics Australia.
