Our why
The inspiration behind the business
The company was started by my father, Saheed Khan, who migrated to Australia in the 1980s. Rooted in our humble beginnings, he mowed lawns and worked in roll forming until he received a truck from a friend. With his truck, and his boundless dedication to work, he was recruited by a motor-oil manufacturing company to transport oil products, for which he received high praise for his quality of work. With one truck and a vision, my father saw the opportunity to establish transport services in an industry that was highly in demand. Now, after 30 years of work in the industry, the pre-existing company has dominated the market. However, my father is ill- with what started on the back of the hard-working sole trader- he can no longer work like he used to. As his daughter, his work ethic drove me to try my best, and thus, we are in the process of re-branding and transferring the company, creating S.E.T Logistics.
